introductions and ting

So everyone says i have a mad life, maybe i do. Here's some documentation of it and i guess you can judge for yourself how mad, or not, it is.....

I have issues today, at the weekend we went and attacked the orchard on the other farm, i didn't get stung by bees or wasps, phew, i'm allergic and it might have put a bit of a downer on the day if i'd ended up in hospital. Anyway I got four huge baskets of apples, some pears and a bit of apple tree stuck in my eye. Then mum found a walnut tree, fine i think, squeezing through a hedge we'll pick them too. Walnut trees are huge, so to get any nuts you have to root around on the nettles in a squirrel/rat like fashion. We did get some. They grow on the tree with a think green skin overlying the hard nut that you would recognise as a walnut, when they've been on the floor for a while the green outside goes black and rots off, making them much easier to peel, or squeeze til the nut pops out. Mum and i got the nuts back to the farmhouse and started peeling them, getting black goop all over our hands. the black goop has stained my hands; three showers, exfoliator, every agricultural hand clenser we can get, cif lemon kitchen, toilet duck, demestos and sandpaper will not shift it! Whats worse is i have an interview for a very swish job this afternoon! the only thing that has made it slightly better, nicotene yellow as opposed to black is jolene lady moustache bleach which i have had on my fingers all morning. Its going to be a disaster!!

In other news we had the most delicious pie last night from the cotswold pudding and pie company, i recomend everyone ring myles on 01242602564 and get some of his lovely lovely pie
